Let's begin with the already fulfilled promise to Abraham. " And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise. Galatians 3:29
The promises spoken to Abraham were to his seed, not his seeds. God told Abraham that every nation would be blessed through his seed. That seed is Jesus Christ. "God made three major promises to Abraham. He promised him a great
NATION. God promised his descendants would be as the sand of the
seashore and the stars of the heavens (Gen 22:17).
God promised Abraham that his family would possess the LAND where he lived as a stranger (Gen 12:7) God promised Abraham that his SEED or descendant after him would bless all nations (Gen 22:18). How were they fulfilled? God fulfilled the NATION promise when Abraham's family grew rapidly in Egypt and then entered a covenant with them at Mount Sinai (Ex 1:7; 19:3-6). He fulfilled the LAND promise when Joshua led the people on the conquest of Canaan and then divided up the land (Josh 21:43-45). And then God fulfilled the SEED promise in his Son Jesus Christ (Acts 3:25-26)." “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:”
Jeremiah 31:31 This scripture is speaking of the new covenant that Jesus declared. I don't understand how Christians can read Jeremiah and Daniel and not see its fulfillment with Jesus. The promise made to Abraham wasn't just one of physical land, it was also a spiritual promise.
At the end of this world, New Jerusalem descends from heaven. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." Revelation 21:1-2 Until then, the kingdom of God resides within you while you're in this temporary home. The Israel you see in the Middle East today, is a mockery towards what Jesus accomplished on the cross. "It is finished!" "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28. Why do so many Christians find themselves wrapped up in its affairs? The "chosen" in the old Testament were simply those who believed in God. That's the choice all men and women have had to make since the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden. "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness." Romans 4:3 Do you believe in Him? The prince of lies has been perverting the truth since the garden. He knew Jesus was coming, he just didn't know when. "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1:9
Please, fellow Christians, I implore you, spread the Gospel of Jesus to the Jews. If we do not, many will be lost.
